New gearbox adapter

For those of you who always wanted a twincam engine in your Fiat 850 Coupe or 600 sedan, I may have the answer for you.

I now have available a complete "gearbox adapter kit" that allows you to mate a Fiat DOHC motor with a Volkswagen (Webster/Hewland MK9)/Porsche 901 type gearbox. The Webster/Hewland and Porsche gearboxes come as 4 speed and 5 speed and provide full interchangeability of gear ratios, so you can have almost anything that you want. Included in the kit are a new billet steel flywheel, 228mm pressure plate, 228mm ceramic/metallic friction disc and all the hardware to bolt the two together. This combination is good for over 250 HP. For street applications I can also supply an standard organic 228mm friction disc.

Aside from the special flywheel (VW ring gear, but with the Fiat crankshaft bolt pattern) all other items are standard VW. You will still have to conenct the shift linkage and make mounts for the gearbox yourself.
